How You May Use the Content on this Site
Overview
Unless otherwise noted, the articles on this site have been written by me and are copyrighted in my name, Tom LaForce. I want to provide you with an opportunity to use what I’ve written while protecting my intellectual property rights. If you see something that you want to reproduce, I simply ask that you following these rules.
What you can do without my permission
- Link to any article or page on this site. Hey, we all like traffic and I’m happy to have it. You need not let me know, but if you do drop me a note, perhaps one day I’ll be able to return the favor.
- Extract a piece of the article (less than 200 words) for use in a longer article you are writing provided you include a link back to the post.
What you can’t do unless you have my permission
Getting permission is pretty easy. Send me an email describing what you want to do. Include a link to the publication and your purpose for using the article. I’ll let you know via email whether or not I grant permission. In some cases I may ask you to pay for use. A guy’s got to make a living. If you don’t gain permission, please don’t:
- Repost any article from this site in its entirety.
- Repost a translated version of any work from this site.
- Alter or build upon this work and then claim it as your own.
If you have a question about these rules or want to do something I haven’t specifically addressed, please ask.
