We turned the corner last night. The sun has begun its journey northward. Slowly, but without doubt, our long winter nights have begun to shorten.
The winter solstice always brightens my spirit. It’s dark, cold, and sometimes snowy. Still, it represents the first step on the way to something better. Light is on its way.
Lighter, darker. Warmer, colder. Waxing, waning. Always automatic. Nature effortlessly renews itself.
And as it changes, I feel its pull to renew myself as well. It’s showing me the way. It’s nudging me to reflect and act.
In between the holiday celebrations of the next nine days, find some time to renew yourself.
Ask the questions and seek the answers. Identify the challenges and take the first steps in a new direction.
The light is coming. Find it. Allow it to renew your spirit.
